6,200 registered bed nights

In March 2020, 6,200 bed nights were recorded in Värmdö (-20.1 %), of which 5,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 210 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 20 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 13 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 20 percent from last year's March.

1,100 rooms (-27.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,700 rooms (-62.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 24,900 bed nights (+25.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 990 (+37.4 %) for foreigners in Värmdö, in total 25,900 (+26.3 %) nights.

Total of 2.8 million bed nights (-37.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.4 million nights (-33.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 405,000 nights (-54.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Värmdö out of total bed nights was 0.2 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

3,600 tourists arrived to accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 36 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 97.1 percent were domestic, and 2.9 percent were from foreign countries.

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Värmdö on average 1.7 nights (+0.37) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-0.72).
