In January 2022, 7,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Värmdö (+23.0 %), of which 7,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 104 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 23 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased two percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 23 percent from last year's January.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from United States (43 nights).
1,900 rooms (+40.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,200 rooms (+76.9 %) by business visitors.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 48 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.7 percent were domestic, and 1.3 percent were from foreign countries.
During January, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Värmdö on average 1.6 nights (-0.33) and foreigners 1.8 nights (-0.33).
