12,400 registered bed nights

In September 2020, 12,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Värmdö (-31.6 %), of which 12,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 260 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 30 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 67 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 32 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from United Kingdom (49 nights).

3,800 rooms (+47.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 3,400 rooms (-60.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 135,000 registered bed nights (-8.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,500 (-72.3 %) for foreigners in Värmdö, in total 139,000 (-13.4 %) registered nights.

The market share of Värmdö out of total registered bed nights was 0.4 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.5 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay increased 12 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 12 percent compared to earlier year. In Värmdö, length of stay in September was on average 1.7 nights and in Sweden 2.0 nights (+4.9 %).

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Värmdö on average 1.7 nights (+18.5 %) and foreigners 2.1 nights (-7.4 %).

7,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 39 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.3 percent were domestic, and 1.7 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Värmdö on average 1.7 nights (+0.19) and foreigners 2.1 nights (+0.06).
