245,000 registered bed nights
In February 2020, 245,000 bed nights were recorded in Värmland County (-7.7 %), of which 213,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 32,400 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased four percent and foreign bed nights decreased 27 percent. In total, bed nights decreased eight percent from last year's February.
Between January and February, 399,000 bed nights (+2.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 58,500 (-20.5 %) for foreigners in Värmland County, in total 458,000 (-1.3 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
