90,600 registered bed nights

In September 2020, 90,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Värmland County (-29.7 %), of which 73,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 17,300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 22 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 51 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 30 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (5,900 nights).

Between January and September, 1.2 million registered bed nights (-12.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 164,000 (-79.4 %) for foreigners in Värmland County, in total 1.4 million (-37.0 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.1 million registered bed nights (-30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (-19.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 441,000 nights (-61.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Värmland County out of total registered bed nights was 2.9 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 2.7 % and foreign bed nights 3.9 %.
