Registered bed nights increased 76 percent

In April 2021, 68,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Värmland County (+75.5 %), of which 64,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 4,500 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 79 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 41 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 76 percent from last year's April.

Between January and April, 489,000 registered bed nights (-15.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 19,600 (-71.2 %) for foreigners in Värmland County, in total 509,000 (-21.2 %) registered nights.

Registered bed nights increased 370 percent (Degerfors)

In April 2021, 1,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Degerfors (+373.1 %), of which 800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 240 nights by foreigners.

43 rooms (+4,200.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 390 rooms (+225.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 1,900 registered bed nights (+9.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 500 (+3,442.9 %) for foreigners in Degerfors, in total 2,400 (+36.7 %) registered nights.

Registered bed nights increased 55 percent (Karlskoga)

In April 2021, 2,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Karlskoga (+55.4 %), of which 2,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 280 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 66 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased one percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 55 percent from last year's April.

310 rooms (+60.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,100 rooms (+56.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 8,300 registered bed nights (-11.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 820 (-32.5 %) for foreigners in Karlskoga, in total 9,100 (-13.5 %) registered nights.

Market share 2.7 percent

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Värmland County out of total registered bed nights was 2.7 % (-0.4 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 2.8 % and foreign bed nights 2.0 %.
