239,000 registered bed nights

In June 2019, 239,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Värmland County (-2.3 %), of which 123,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 116,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased six percent and registered foreign bed nights increased two percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased two percent from last year's June.

29,200 rooms (+15.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 29,000 rooms (+6.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 885,000 registered bed nights (-1.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 323,000 (-3.0 %) for foreigners in Värmland County, in total 1.2 million (-2.0 %) registered nights.

3,000 registered bed nights (Degerfors)

In June 2019, 3,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Degerfors (-1.0 %), of which 2,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 530 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased five percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 20 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased one percent from last year's June.

290 rooms (+2,800.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 142 rooms (+255.0 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 5,200 registered bed nights (-10.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,600 (+72.7 %) for foreigners in Degerfors, in total 6,700 (+1.1 %) registered nights.

Registered bed nights increased seven percent (Karlskoga)

In June 2019, 8,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Karlskoga (+7.0 %), of which 6,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 10 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased eight percent. In total, registered bed nights increased seven percent from last year's June.

1,000 rooms (+1.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,900 rooms (+17.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 25,200 registered bed nights (+22.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 4,100 (-3.8 %) for foreigners in Karlskoga, in total 29,300 (+18.2 %) registered nights.

Total of 7.1 million registered bed nights (+7.5 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 5.0 million nights (+8.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 2.1 million nights (+5.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Värmland County out of total registered bed nights was 3.4 % (-0.3 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 2.4 % and foreign bed nights 5.6 %.

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased one percent compared to earlier year. In Värmland County, length of stay in June was on average 2.0 nights and in Sweden 2.1 nights (+4.2 %).

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Värmland County on average 1.9 nights (+4.5 %) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-4.4 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased two percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 52.3 percent were domestic, and 47.7 percent were from foreign countries.
