Registered bed nights increased 34 percent
In May 2021, 82,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Värmland County (+34.5 %), of which 71,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 11,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 28 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 98 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 34 percent from last year's May.
9,600 rooms (+91.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 15,300 rooms (+36.0 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 560,000 registered bed nights (-11.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 30,600 (-58.4 %) for foreigners in Värmland County, in total 591,000 (-16.4 %) registered nights.

Registered bed nights increased 43 percent (Degerfors)
In May 2021, 1,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Degerfors (+42.7 %), of which 1,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 120 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 33 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 1,900 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 43 percent from last year's May.
46 rooms (+24.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 210 rooms (+76.9 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 3,400 registered bed nights (+18.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 620 (+2,980.0 %) for foreigners in Degerfors, in total 4,000 (+39.0 %) registered nights.

Registered bed nights increased 64 percent (Karlskoga)
In May 2021, 4,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Karlskoga (+64.3 %), of which 4,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 260 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 88 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 49 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 64 percent from last year's May.
220 rooms (-3.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,400 rooms (+62.9 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 12,900 registered bed nights (+9.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,100 (-37.5 %) for foreigners in Karlskoga, in total 13,900 (+3.7 %) registered nights.
