In April 2021, 96,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Västerbotten County (+112.2 %), of which 88,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 7,800 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 103 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 360 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 112 percent from last year's April.
Between January and April, 295,000 registered bed nights (-8.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 27,600 (-46.2 %) for foreigners in Västerbotten County, in total 323,000 (-13.3 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
