149,000 registered bed nights

In August 2018, 149,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Västernorrland County (-1.2 %), of which 124,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 24,800 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased one percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased less than one percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased one percent from last year's August.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (7,900 nights).

25,100 rooms (+16.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 25,400 rooms (-9.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and August, 734,000 registered bed nights (+1.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 147,000 (+14.0 %) for foreigners in Västernorrland County, in total 882,000 (+3.5 %) registered nights.
