19,500 registered bed nights

In May 2020, 19,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Västervik (-32.8 %), of which 19,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 370 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 28 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 84 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 33 percent from last year's May.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (187 nights).

2,000 rooms (-19.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,400 rooms (-61.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 50,700 registered bed nights (-22.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,200 (-30.2 %) for foreigners in Västervik, in total 54,000 (-23.1 %) registered nights.
