2,000 registered bed nights
In December 2019, 2,000 bed nights were recorded in Vaxholm (-1.9 %), of which 1,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 157 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased 11 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 58 percent. In total, bed nights decreased two percent from last year's December.
390 rooms (+201.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 230 rooms (-0.4 %) by business visitors.
Between January and December, 54,000 bed nights (-10.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 18,200 (+17.2 %) for foreigners in Vaxholm, in total 72,200 (-4.9 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
