Paid bed nights

2,200 registered bed nights

In November 2019, 2,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Vaxholm (-4.3 %), of which 2,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 41 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased three percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 46 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased four percent from last year's November.

320 rooms (+43.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 620 rooms (-7.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and November, 52,200 registered bed nights (-11.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 18,100 (+19.1 %) for foreigners in Vaxholm, in total 70,200 (-5.0 %) registered nights.

Length of stay increased four percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased four percent compared to earlier year. In Vaxholm, length of stay in November was on average 1.5 nights and in Sweden 1.8 nights (+0.6 %).

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vaxholm on average 1.5 nights (+5.7 %) and foreigners 1.1 nights (-8.4 %).

1,400 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased eight percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.4 percent were domestic, and 2.6 percent were from foreign countries.
