Registered bed nights increased 17 percent
In May 2022, 13,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Vellinge (+17.2 %), of which 11,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,700 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased seven percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 240 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 17 percent from last year's May.
1,300 rooms (+25.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,100 rooms (+77.4 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 27,700 registered bed nights (+26.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,600 (+173.8 %) for foreigners in Vellinge, in total 31,300 (+34.7 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 47 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 85.5 percent were domestic, and 14.5 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vellinge on average 2.0 nights (-0.46) and foreigners 1.8 nights (-0.84).
