Registered bed nights increased 14 percent
In August 2022, 80,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Vest- And Indre-Finnmark (+14.5 %), of which 40,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 40,200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 17 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 84 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 14 percent from last year's August.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (11,000 nights).
27,500 nights (+15.3 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 15,800 nights (+2.9 %) by business visitors.
Between January and August, 258,000 registered bed nights (+23.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 193,000 (+329.2 %) for foreigners in Vest- And Indre-Finnmark, in total 451,000 (+77.5 %) registered nights.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 20 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 47.2 percent were domestic, and 52.8 percent were from foreign countries.
During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vest- And Indre-Finnmark on average 1.7 nights (+0.07) and foreigners 1.6 nights (-0.3).

Registered January-August sales were 221.8 million crowns and they increased 102.0 million crowns from the previous year.
