Paid bed nights

14,500 registered bed nights

In November 2020, 14,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Vest- And Indre-Finnmark (-32.4 %), of which 13,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 33 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 27 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 32 percent from last year's November.

4,600 nights (-19.6 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 6,800 nights (-41.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and November, 254,000 registered bed nights (-13.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 60,200 (-68.5 %) for foreigners in Vest- And Indre-Finnmark, in total 314,000 (-35.4 %) registered nights.

Market share 1.7 percent

Total of 861,000 registered bed nights (-56.5 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 751,000 nights (-54.4 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 111,000 nights (-67.1 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Vest- And Indre-Finnmark out of total registered bed nights was 1.7 % (+0.6 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 1.7 % and foreign bed nights 1.2 %.

Length of stay increased 12 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 12 percent compared to earlier year. In Vest- And Indre-Finnmark, length of stay in November was on average 2.0 nights and in Norway 2.4 nights (+37.9 %).

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vest- And Indre-Finnmark on average 1.9 nights (-1.1 %) and foreigners 4.1 nights (+10.1 %).

7,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 40 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.5 percent were domestic, and 4.5 percent were from foreign countries.

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vest- And Indre-Finnmark on average 1.9 nights (+0.13) and foreigners 4.1 nights (+2.1).
