Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 187 percent

In June 2022, 90,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Vest- And Indre-Finnmark (+186.8 %), of which 38,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 51,900 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 31 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 2,100 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 187 percent from last year's June.

33,200 nights (+299.0 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 15,100 nights (+42.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 176,000 registered bed nights (+68.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 94,300 (+1,333.6 %) for foreigners in Vest- And Indre-Finnmark, in total 271,000 (+142.9 %) registered nights.

Market share 2.0 percent

Total of 4.5 million registered bed nights (+64.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.1 million nights (+18.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.4 million nights (+904.2 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Vest- And Indre-Finnmark out of total registered bed nights was 2.0 % (+0.8 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 1.2 % and foreign bed nights 3.6 %.

Length of stay was 1.6 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 11 percent compared to earlier year. In Vest- And Indre-Finnmark, length of stay in June was on average 1.6 nights and in Norway 2.0 nights (-11.7 %).

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vest- And Indre-Finnmark on average 1.8 nights (-10.1 %) and foreigners 1.5 nights (-31.6 %).

55,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 220 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 37.9 percent were domestic, and 62.1 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vest- And Indre-Finnmark on average 1.8 nights (+0.02) and foreigners 1.5 nights (-0.68).
