Registered bed nights increased 19 percent
In March 2022, 11,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Vest-Telemark (+19.1 %), of which 4,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 6,400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 45 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 1,100 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 19 percent from last year's March.
5,200 nights (+108.3 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 440 nights (-6.0 %) by business visitors.
Between January and March, 12,100 registered bed nights (-50.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 15,900 (+1,256.1 %) for foreigners in Vest-Telemark, in total 28,000 (+8.8 %) registered nights.

Length of stay increased 21 percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 21 percent compared to earlier year. In Vest-Telemark, length of stay in March was on average 4.1 nights and in Norway 2.1 nights (-23.5 %).
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vest-Telemark on average 3.1 nights (-3.7 %) and foreigners 5.3 nights (-57.6 %).
2,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased two percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 56.2 percent were domestic, and 43.8 percent were from foreign countries.
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vest-Telemark on average 3.1 nights (-0.08) and foreigners 5.3 nights (-5.9).
