Registered bed nights increased 39 percent
In May 2021, 192,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Vestfold Og Telemark (+38.9 %), of which 187,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 5,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 38 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 67 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 39 percent from last year's May.
28,100 nights (+132.0 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 19,900 nights (+49.3 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 384,000 registered bed nights (+10.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 27,300 (-65.5 %) for foreigners in Vestfold Og Telemark, in total 412,000 (-3.6 %) registered nights.

48,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 50 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.7 percent were domestic, and 3.3 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vestfold Og Telemark on average 4.0 nights (-0.35) and foreigners 3.1 nights (+0.64).

Registered accommodation sales in May were 32.0 million crowns (+16.3 million).
Registered January-May sales were 117.4 million crowns and they decreased 9.1 million euro from the previous year.
