Registered bed nights increased 15 percent
In May 2022, 220,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Vestfold Og Telemark (+14.6 %), of which 200,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 19,600 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased seven percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 300 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 15 percent from last year's May.
47,600 nights (+69.6 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 30,600 nights (+53.9 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 540,000 registered bed nights (+40.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 105,000 (+283.0 %) for foreigners in Vestfold Og Telemark, in total 645,000 (+56.7 %) registered nights.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 68 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 87.7 percent were domestic, and 12.3 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vestfold Og Telemark on average 2.8 nights (-1.2) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-1.2).

Registered accommodation sales in May were 77.4 million crowns (+45.4 million).
Registered January-May sales were 278.2 million crowns and they increased 161.0 million crowns from the previous year.
