Registered bed nights increased 151 percent

In November 2021, 256,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Vestland (+150.8 %), of which 228,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 28,500 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 165 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 74 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 151 percent from last year's November.

95,800 nights (+274.8 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 95,500 nights (+84.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and November, 3.0 million registered bed nights (+16.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 568,000 (+24.9 %) for foreigners in Vestland, in total 3.5 million (+17.6 %) registered nights.

Market share 12.8 percent

Total of 2.0 million registered bed nights (+132.5 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.8 million nights (+133.8 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 247,000 nights (+123.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Vestland out of total registered bed nights was 12.8 % (+0.9 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 13.0 % and foreign bed nights 11.5 %.

143,000 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 230 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.1 percent were domestic, and 8.9 percent were from foreign countries.

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vestland on average 1.8 nights (-0.4) and foreigners 2.2 nights (-2.4).

Registered January-November sales were 1.7 billion crowns and they increased 358.0 million euro from the previous year.
