1,600 registered bed nights

In March 2020, 1,600 bed nights were recorded in Vetlanda (-41.3 %), of which 1,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 181 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 43 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 24 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 41 percent from last year's March.

610 rooms (-48.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 580 rooms (-40.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 5,600 bed nights (-10.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 990 (+6.7 %) for foreigners in Vetlanda, in total 6,600 (-8.2 %) nights.

Total of 2.8 million bed nights (-37.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.4 million nights (-33.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 405,000 nights (-54.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Vetlanda out of total bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

780 tourists arrived to accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 50 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 94.4 percent were domestic, and 5.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vetlanda on average 1.9 nights (+0.18) and foreigners 4.1 nights (+2.1).
