Registered bed nights increased 25 percent
In September 2021, 4,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Vetlanda (+24.7 %), of which 3,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 700 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 14 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 135 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 25 percent from last year's September.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (136 nights).
1,500 rooms (+10.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 850 rooms (+161.9 %) by business visitors.
Between January and September, 30,900 registered bed nights (+14.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 5,600 (+84.3 %) for foreigners in Vetlanda, in total 36,600 (+21.2 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 10 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 88.7 percent were domestic, and 11.3 percent were from foreign countries.
During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vetlanda on average 1.8 nights (+0.17) and foreigners 2.9 nights (+0.31).
