Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 71 percent

In June 2022, 7,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Vetlanda (+71.3 %), of which 5,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,500 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 34 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 300 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 71 percent from last year's June.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Poland (550 nights).

2,400 rooms (+106.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 670 rooms (+284.0 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 17,700 registered bed nights (+39.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 7,400 (+317.8 %) for foreigners in Vetlanda, in total 25,100 (+73.1 %) registered nights.

Total of 6.9 million registered bed nights (+39.7 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 5.2 million nights (+17.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.6 million nights (+259.5 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Vetlanda out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

Length of stay was 3.1 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 27 percent compared to earlier year. In Vetlanda, length of stay in June was on average 3.1 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-13.2 %).

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vetlanda on average 2.5 nights (-25.3 %) and foreigners 6.9 nights (+57.4 %).

2,400 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 133 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 85.0 percent were domestic, and 15.0 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vetlanda on average 2.5 nights (-1.6) and foreigners 6.9 nights (+1.2).
