Registered bed nights increased 25 percent
In August 2022, 636,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Viken (+25.3 %), of which 508,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 128,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 11 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 158 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 25 percent from last year's August.
196,000 nights (+38.6 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 133,000 nights (+46.0 %) by business visitors.
Between January and August, 3.1 million registered bed nights (+39.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 809,000 (+352.5 %) for foreigners in Viken, in total 3.9 million (+62.5 %) registered nights.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 44 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 74.3 percent were domestic, and 25.7 percent were from foreign countries.
