7,100 registered bed nights

In September 2020, 7,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Vilhelmina (-7.3 %), of which 6,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 710 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased five percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 24 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased seven percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (220 nights).

1,400 rooms (-21.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,600 rooms (-4.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 70,400 registered bed nights (-20.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 4,400 (-74.1 %) for foreigners in Vilhelmina, in total 74,800 (-29.4 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.1 million registered bed nights (-30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (-19.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 441,000 nights (-61.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Vilhelmina out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

3,600 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased four percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.9 percent were domestic, and 8.1 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vilhelmina on average 2.0 nights (-0.11) and foreigners 2.5 nights (+0.27).
