7,400 registered bed nights

In June 2020, 7,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Vilhelmina (-34.5 %), of which 7,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 390 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 24 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 81 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 35 percent from last year's June.

1,300 rooms (-16.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 720 rooms (-53.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 32,400 registered bed nights (-32.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,100 (-54.3 %) for foreigners in Vilhelmina, in total 34,500 (-34.5 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Vilhelmina out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

3,900 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 31 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.4 percent were domestic, and 3.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vilhelmina on average 1.9 nights (-0.2) and foreigners 2.8 nights (+1.0).
