Registered bed nights increased 128 percent
In December 2021, 3,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Vimmerby (+127.9 %), of which 3,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 188 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 142 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased eight percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 128 percent from last year's December.
800 rooms (+110.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,200 rooms (+75.7 %) by business visitors.
Between January and December, 183,000 registered bed nights (+193.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 14,000 (+190.4 %) for foreigners in Vimmerby, in total 197,000 (+192.8 %) registered nights.
