Registered bed nights increased 22 percent (March)
In March 2021, 1,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Vindeln (+22.0 %), of which 1,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 76 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 79 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 80 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 22 percent from last year's March.
129 rooms (-59.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 890 rooms (+115.8 %) by business visitors.
Between January and March, 2,500 registered bed nights were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,700 for foreigners in Vindeln, in total 4,200 registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased one percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 99.1 percent were domestic, and 0.9 percent were from foreign countries.
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vindeln on average 2.9 nights (+0.88) and foreigners 19 nights (+15).
