Vindeln: Tourism in a nutshell
Registered accommodation. All changes are relative to the same period a year ago.
Registered bed nights increased 37 percent
In May 2022, 2,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Vindeln (+37.3 %), of which 2,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 530 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 47 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased six percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 37 percent from last year's May.
310 rooms (+30.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 950 rooms (+6.7 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 7,400 registered bed nights were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,900 for foreigners in Vindeln, in total 11,300 registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 91 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 83.2 percent were domestic, and 16.8 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vindeln on average 2.2 nights (-0.36) and foreigners 2.5 nights (-7.0).
