Registered bed nights increased 64 percent

In March 2022, 25,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Voss (+63.5 %), of which 23,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,500 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 49 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 1,900 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 64 percent from last year's March.

12,900 nights (+40.6 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 2,200 nights (+67.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 51,700 registered bed nights (+34.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 7,500 (+495.0 %) for foreigners in Voss, in total 59,200 (+48.8 %) registered nights.

Market share 1.1 percent

Total of 2.3 million registered bed nights (+142.9 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.8 million nights (+110.6 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 507,000 nights (+443.4 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Voss out of total registered bed nights was 1.1 % (-0.5 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 1.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.5 %.

11,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 108 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.2 percent were domestic, and 6.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Voss on average 2.2 nights (-0.68) and foreigners 3.2 nights (+1.1).
