Ydre: Tourism in a nutshell

Registered bed nights increased 10 percent
In May 2022, 2,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Ydre (+9.9 %), of which 2,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 118 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased eight percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 66 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 10 percent from last year's May.
430 rooms (+103.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 161 rooms (+35.3 %) by business visitors.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 45 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.5 percent were domestic, and 4.5 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ydre on average 2.3 nights (-0.7) and foreigners 2.5 nights (-2.3).
