In December 2020, 1,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Ylä-Pirkanmaa (-57.5 %), of which 1,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 38 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 47 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 94 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 58 percent from last year's December.
710 nights (-61.8 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 410 nights (-47.5 %) by business visitors.
Between January and December, 43,400 registered bed nights (-39.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 8,200 (-52.0 %) for foreigners in Ylä-Pirkanmaa, in total 51,600 (-41.7 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 22 percent compared to earlier year. In Ylä-Pirkanmaa, length of stay in December was on average 1.9 nights and in Finland 2.3 nights (+15.3 %).
During December, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ylä-Pirkanmaa on average 1.9 nights (-6.9 %) and foreigners 4.2 nights (+72.5 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 46 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.5 percent were domestic, and 1.5 percent were from foreign countries.
