Registered bed nights increased 159 percent
In April 2022, 3,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Ylä-Pirkanmaa (+159.3 %), of which 3,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 5.0 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 163 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 75 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 159 percent from last year's April.
2,400 nights (+208.1 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 800 nights (+75.2 %) by business visitors.
Between January and April, 9,400 registered bed nights (+112.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 300 (+529.2 %) for foreigners in Ylä-Pirkanmaa, in total 9,700 (+116.8 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.
