11,100 registered bed nights
In March 2020, 11,100 bed nights were recorded in Ystad (-14.1 %), of which 9,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,700 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased one percent and foreign bed nights decreased 50 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 14 percent from last year's March.
4,400 rooms (-16.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,200 rooms (-45.2 %) by business visitors.
Between January and March, 28,400 bed nights (+18.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 9,000 (-12.7 %) for foreigners in Ystad, in total 37,400 (+8.7 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 28 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 84.2 percent were domestic, and 15.8 percent were from foreign countries.
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ystad on average 2.3 nights (+0.4) and foreigners 2.3 nights (+0.23).
